Insurance
We are currently in network with Optum, United HealthCare (UHC), United Behavioral Health (UBH), Aetna, and currently pending TRIWEST insurance. We are also able to assist clients with submitting superbills as an "out of network" provider for other insurance companies with a PPO plan. This is an invoice you submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to inquire what your reimbursement is for an out of network provider.

Rates
Fees for therapy services are based on a 45 to 55-minute time slot. Private pay fee begins at $225 per session for individual therapy.  For couples counseling the private pay fee is a standard $250 for a 60 minute session. Our office also offers sliding scale time slots for clients based on financial need. Please call to inquire about specific rates for therapy. 

Payment

Cash, check, debit, and all major credit cards accepted as payment options. Payment is expected at the time of service. Credit cards are required to be kept on file and can be updated at any time through a secure HIPAA compliant portal. 

 

No Show/Late Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to show for your scheduled appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the No Show/Late Cancellation fee. The No Show/Late Cancellation fee is the standard fee of $225. This will be automatically charged that same day. If you cancel within the 24 hour time frame, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. 

Barnett Psychological Services will provide you with a courtesy Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 - which went into effect on January 1, 2022). Health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
